A large U.S. law enforcement agency was managing 300 to 400 policies and procedures that had evolved over many years.
Information Mapping developed an AI-empowered document transformation approach to modernize the organization's policy library.
The project began with an analysis of the existing documentation to identify common structures, inconsistencies, and content patterns. Based on these findings, we designed a standardized policy template that would govern both existing and future documentation.
To meet the deadline, we leveraged AI-assisted document processing to analyze, classify, and transform large volumes of content efficiently. This enabled the rapid conversion of hundreds of policies while maintaining the integrity of the original information.
Unlike many automated conversion projects, Information Mapping complemented this project with a quality review process by Information Mapping experts. Every document was validated against the agreed requirements to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with the organization's standards. This combination of automation and expert quality assurance helped deliver both speed and confidence in the final result.
